This 55-acre theme park was constructed as part of a major expansion that transformed the Disneyland area and its hotels into the Disneyland Resort and consists of five areas: Sunshine Plaza, Hollywood Pictures Backlot, The Golden State, A Bug's Land and Paradise Pier. Most of them are meant to resemble various aspects of California, its culture, landmarks and history.
Knotts Berry Farm
What was once an actual berry farm is now a 160 acre-theme park. Park highlights include GhostRider, one of the world's best wooden roller coaster; Supreme Scream, one of the world's tallest drop towers; Xcelerator launch coaster; Timber Mountain Log Ride, one of the first log flumes; and Mystery Lodge, a special-effects laden theatre show.

Heritage Museum of Orange County

Created to preserve Orange County’s cultural heritage, The Heritage Museum of Orange County is a Victorian gem set among extensive gardens and citrus groves in west Santa Ana. It is home to the historic Kellogg House, a favorite field trip destination for thousands of students from Orange County and the surrounding areas. Laguna Art Museum

Laguna Art Museum focuses on the cultural heritage of California and on the unique history and accomplishments of Laguna Beach. From the turn of the century through the 1930s, Laguna Beach was home to one of the most significant artists’ colony on the Pacific Coast. The Laguna Art Museum has not only been the focal point of this art colony but, instrumental in uncovering its history as well. Along with its counterpart, the Oakland Museum of California Art in northern California, it has been at the forefront of a trend among California museums to focus on regional art history.

Orange County Center for Contemporary Art

The Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (OCCCA) is an artist operated California non-profit corporation dedicated to the pursuit of professional excellence and freedom of expression in the arts. Since it's inception in 1980, it provides emerging and established member and guest artists a forum to explore and develop ideas in contemporary art in an atmosphere that promotes experimentation and risk-taking, but without the specter of censorship. In addition, OCCCA develops and actively participates in public educational, outreach and community art services. Located in the heart of Santa Ana's Artist Village, OCCCA presents a variety of free programs every month including First Friday Films, Eclectic Company concerts and First Saturday artist receptions.


Irvine Barclay Theatre

Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall

The Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall was opened Sept. 15, 2006, the design of architect Cesar Pelli. The concert hall seats 1,704 patrons, with an additional 250 when choral seating is not required. The beige Portuguese limestone and serpentine glass façade features more than an acre of glass. Performances included in the Concert Series, Jazz Club Series, Cabaret Series and special events. The Concert Hall is home to the Pacific Symphony, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, and the Pacific Chorale.
South Coast Repertory

Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre

Formerly known as Irvine Meadows, the Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre is an outdoor concert ampitheatre with reserved seating for over 10,000 and lawn-seating for 4,500. The popular arena packs in crowds for large-scale acts and music festivals.
